Solar Ambassador Workshop
Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary on 2nd October is also celebrated as International Non-Violence Day. To commemorate this occasion, ESF’s Solar Ambassador Workshop (SAW) aims to provide participants with hands-on experience in solar technology, highlighting the significance of solar energy in mitigating climate change.
Solar Ambassador Workshop
Climate change is a pressing issue, impacting us more than ever before. It is our violence of emitting CO2 in the atmosphere has created the problem and use of solar energy will solve it.
In interactive one-day hands-on Solar Ambassador Workshop on Gandhi Jayanti, 2nd October, also celebrated as International Non-Violence Day, everyone will learn to assemble their own multi-purpose solar lamp. The training empowers participants with practical skills and knowledge of solar energy. The solar lamp can be used in multiple way for studying, as torch, as night lamp, etc.
Environmental non-violence is need of the hour. Join us, become Solar Ambassador and take a pledge of Non-violence to environment on Gandhi Jayanti.

Highlights of SAW Event
Organizations of all types—including academic, government, social, corporate, and start-ups—are welcome to participate.
- Receive a Do-It-Yourself Solar lamp kit
- Training conduct by Master Trainers on the event day(who are trained already by ESF)
- A special session by Prof. Chetan Singh Solanki, widely known as Solar Man of India and Solar Gandhi, who will address all Participants
Participation Fee / Min. Kit Order
Participation fee is Rs. 850/- per participant. This includes
- Cost of lamp kit (one toolkit shared amongst 50 participants)
- 1 solar lamp kit for trainer and training of trainers (online)
- e-certificate and shipping and taxes.
- To ensure a meaningful impact and effective participation, a minimum order of 50 solar lamp kits. Along with the set of every 50 lamp kit, a toolkit, extra solar lamp kit for the training of master trainers will be included.
