About the FEM'Us Volunteers
Every human being today is part of the climate problem, not because of bad intentions, but because modern life is organised around continuous consumption. The Finite Earth Movement (FEM) is a global, citizen-led movement grounded in a simple truth: On a finite planet, infinite consumption is not possible. We have to realise, adopt, and spread this truth by bringing it into everyday life.
A FEM’Us Volunteer leads by practice. They do not merely speak about climate change. They begin by reducing their own consumption and then invite others to do the same. Movements of this scale grow when people are shown a path that is simple, human, and possible.
FEM’Us Volunteers make this possible by acting first, enabling others to follow, and transforming an overwhelming global crisis into a shared, everyday practice.
