A beautiful and inspiring song has been written and composed specifically for the Indore Climate Mission, ‘Suno Suno, Indore Suno’, highlighting the importance of clean air and understanding energy usage. This song will be played throughout Indore during the mission’s 100-day campaign, from  December 1, 2024 to March 10, 2024.

To spread awareness and engage the community, the Create Dance Steps Competition invites everyone to choreograph dance steps to the Indore Climate Mission song. It is open to everyone including schools and colleges.

Known as India’s cleanest city, Indore has set an ambitious new goal: to become a global leader in climate action. Building on its success in waste management, the Indore Climate Mission (ICM) is now focused on reducing carbon emissions, promoting energy conservation, and encouraging sustainable practices. Through a series of community-driven events and activities, the mission seeks to engage citizens in practical, impactful actions that contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment. By fostering a climate-conscious community, ICM aims to create a model for cities across India and the world to follow.

About Create Dance Steps Competition

To spread awareness and engage the community, the Create Dance Steps Competition invites everyone to choreograph dance steps to the Indore Climate Mission Theme Song.

Guidelines for the Competition:

  • Choreograph a dance that is easy for everyone to follow

  • Keep the steps simple, straightforward and consistent

  • The song lasts for 2 minutes and 28 seconds.

  • Record the dance steps. The video submission should feature at least 20 participants performing the dance steps.

  • The video should be recorded in a horizontal orientation.

  • Ensure the video is recorded in 720p (HD) quality and at an angle that captures all the dancers clearly.

  • You can share the video on social media using the hashtag #IndoreClimateMission to promote it.

  • Submit the video using the provided link. Last date to submit the choreograph video is 27th November 2024.

Rewards for the Competition

  • The winning team will receive Rs. 5000/- cash prize, first runner up Rs. 3000/- and second runner up Rs. 2000/- along with a certificate of appreciation.

  • The winning team will be invited to perform their dance on stage at the official launch of the Indore Climate Mission, showcasing their creativity and support for the mission’s goals.

  • Five other teams will receive hampers and certificates as consolation prizes.

  • Result will be announced on 29th November 2024.
